Direct replacement and performance upgrade for McLaren vehicles made from 6AL4V Aerospace Grade Titanium and specifically designed with an R14 ball seat which is what OEM McLaren wheels use.  If you are using aftermarket wheels or spacers please ask your wheel maker what type seat and shaft length you would need and contact us for appropriate alternatives as we also make these in cone base and R13 ball seat.

The M14x1.5x28 Aerospace Grade 6AL4V Titanium lug bolts measure 28mm in shaft length and have a 1.5 thread pitch with a TORX 70 head. All the strength of aerospace grade titanium while remaining corrosion free.  Also available in a 10mm longer shaft length in case you are using wheel spacers. 

If you are using thicker spacers than +10mm another option we have is to use our Porsche bolts as they use the same R14 ball seat. Here are links to the Porsche lug bolts for use with spacers: +5mm, +15mm, +20mm

Locking Bolts

We do make a locking bolt set in the standard shaft length of 28mm. It comes with 16 pieces normal titanium bolts, 4 pieces locking titanium bolts and 1 titanium key.

What is Black PVD?

Available in natural titanium or with a black PVD coating. We use a Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) process which is much better and more durable than simply black anodizing titanium. PVD is a complex process which vaporizes a number of metals and then binds them on the surface in layers in a heated vacuum. This is the same process used on the beautiful black finish of high end black luxury watches such as Rolex and Panerai watches. We are always asked if the natural titanium finish will look good against a darker wheel and our answer is yes. Natural titanium pops very nicely against a dark wheel and you will be showing off the beautiful titanium you paid for so it would make sense to go natural but many customers still prefer a black titanium so we offer the best solution with the PVD Black Titanium finish.
