Hobao designed the Hyper 9 with weight savings in mind. They trimmed the 8x16 mm bearings 2 mm in overall diameter and 1mm in width to an 8x14x4 mm bearing resulting in lighter overall weight. They also used a 12x18 mm bearing up front which is normally seen in on-road 1:8 cars but a welcomed first for 1:8 off road buggies. ACER Racing's Hyper 9 ceramic bearing kit offers superlightweight ceramic bearings further reducing weight while also slashing rotational mass in the drivetrain with our superlite 8x14x4 mm bearings that use our diamond polished ceramic balls. Our bearing kit also includes the clutch and steering bearings. Our Hyper 9 bearing kit includes the folllowing ceramic bearings
