Schumacher Ceramic Bearing Kits

Schumacher Racing was founded in 1980 by Cecil Schumacher.  Cecil was a design engineer in the motor industry, had designed transmission systems for road and racing cars, before switching emphasis to radio controlled models. Schumacher is a pioneer in the history of RC as they developed the world's first “ball differential”.  This is an incredible acclaim as RC racing could not exist at the intense levels of today without the use of a ball differential. Their first full RC kit went into production in 1982. The highly successful 1/12th scale Schumacher 'C' car dominated for several years and won the European Championships in 1985 and 1988.

The world famous Schumacher “CAT” which stands for Competition All Terrain, appeared in 1986.  This 1/10th scale 4WD off road racer set new standards for innovative design, and won the 1987 4WD World Championship.  It was an expensive car, but the car to beat and as with all Schumacher RC cars looked different than anything else on the track. This started a long line of successful off-road cars. Team Schumacher won the European championships in 1990, 1994, 1995 and 1996.

Again in 1996 Schumacher was one of the first pioneers of the new 1/10th electric touring car class with the “SST” range going on to win an impressive 10 U.S. National titles.

In recent years the Schumacher RC product range has diversified into more of the leisure and sport markets with the Schumacher Fusion, Menace and XTR ranges. ACER Racing is proud to offer the mi2 & mi3 bearing kits as well as the Fusion R12, Mission and CAT SX bearing ktis.  We offer a full line of ceramic bearings for Schumacher RC cars and will continually update our line.
